Responsibilities
- JOB SUMMARY
- With a patient-centered culture, the Licensed Practical Nurse will -as directed by the RN and defined in the state's Scope of Practice- provide direct patient care, meeting the physical, age-specific, social, mental status, cultural and spiritual needs of the patients in accordance department guidelines.
- POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- Education
- Incumbent must be a graduate from a school of nursing.
- Licensure and Certifications
- Current West Virginia license, which is renewed on a yearly basis.
- Must possess BLS certification within probationary period.
- Experience
- Effective interpersonal communication skills in order to effectively collaborate with registered nurses, physicians, and instruct patients and their families
Location: Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital · M/S - Telemetry
Schedule: Full Time, Nights, 1845 to 0715
