Working at Mon Health

One thing I love about working at Mon Health is that it is big enough to advance your career, yet small enough to be known by name and genuinely feel cared about every day.
Responsibilities
The Stepdown Unit (SDU) at Mon Health Medical Center is an intermediate level-of-care unit. Patients are admitted through the emergency department, other hospital units, direct admission, and post-procedure. Much of the patient population is cardiac but there are a variety of medical and surgical patients which include respiratory, surgical, vascular, and medical intermediate level-of-care. Frequent diagnoses include coronary artery disease, heart failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and post-recovery open heart surgery.
This dynamic 36 bed unit is staffed by an amazing team of caregivers and support staff who provide excellent care within a compassionate, caring environment. Come join our team and grow with us. Staff are encouraged to expand their knowledge and develop long-term career goals. This is an excellent place to learn new skills and further develop your clinical expertise. Continuing education and certification are encouraged and supported. RN shifts are 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. or 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. BLS is required with ACLS certification required within 1 year.
