RN - Oncology $15,000 Sign on Bonus (Experienced)

The Oncology Department at Mon Health Medical Center has a dedicated nursing team that provides holistic care to the Oncology patient population.  The Oncology Unit serves populations of adult and geriatric patients by providing chemotherapy administration, administration of biological and non-biological drugs as well as the administration of blood products, infusions and or injectables are delivered based on specifically prescribed orders set as established by the physician; pharmacy and nursing staff collaborate to assure appropriate administration of these protocols. RNs provide education to the patient and families regarding their treatments; emphasis is placed on symptom management and infection control measures.  The Oncology unit has a 12-bed capacity open 24 hours, 7 days/week.  Shifts are 12 hours. Nursing ratios are based on patient acuity and range from 3:1 to 6:1.

As a RN at Mon Health you will coordinate total patient centered care ensuring optimal service to the communities we serve.

 Education Requirements:

Incumbent must be a graduate of school of nursing.

Experience Requirements:

Effective interpersonal communication skills in order to effectively collaborate with physicians, and instruct patients and their families.

Certifications/ Licensure Requirements:

Must possess licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in WV. Must possess BLS certification within probationary period.

May exert up to 100 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 50 lbs. of force frequently and/or in excess of 20 lbs. of force constantly.
