RN - Intensive Care Unit $15,000 Sign on bonus (Experienced)

Job Summary

As a RN at Mon Health you will coordinate total patient centered care ensuring optimal service to the communities we serve.

The Intensive Care Unit at Mon Health Medical Centeris open 24 hours per day and 7 days per week. Frequent patient diagnoses include coronary artery disease, vascular disorders, post percutaneous cardiac procedures, post-operative general surgery, acute cardiopulmonary distress, medical critical care, hemodialysis, and patients managed on mechanical ventilation.  The ICU RN delivers all aspects of direct patient care including medication administration, invasive and noninvasive hemodynamic and cardiac monitoring, IV site initiation and maintenance, invasive monitoring, mechanical ventilation, obtaining blood specimens via venipuncture or from indwelling lines, and patient education. ICU nurses function as members of the healthcare team as well as members of the Code and Rapid Response Team.  CCRN status preferred.

Education Requirements

Incumbent must be a graduate of school of nursing.

Experience Requirements

Prior experience required.

Effective interpersonal communication skills in order to effectively collaborate with physicians, and instruct patients and their families.

Certifications/ Licensure Requirements

Must possess licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in WV. Must possess BLS certification within probationary period and ACLS within one year.
