RN - Emergency Services

The Emergency Department at Mon Health Medical Center is a 26-bed department that provides evidence-based care to all patient populations.  It is a state designated level IV Trauma Center serving our community.  The emergency department is a key component of the hospital’s American College of Cardiology’s Heart Care Center and accredited A Fib Program.  The nursing staff work closely in collaboration with our physicians, advanced practice nurses and specialty providers to provide quality outcomes.  Continuing education and specialty certification are highly encouraged. Nursing staff are required to have ACLS, PALS and TNCC status. The environment is supportive and fast paced.      

Job Summary:

As a RN at Mon Health you will coordinate total patient centered care ensuring optimal service to the communities we serve.

 Education Requirements:

Incumbent must be a graduate of school of nursing.

Experience Requirements:

New Grads Welcome.

Effective interpersonal communication skills in order to effectively collaborate with physicians, and instruct patients and their families.

Certifications/ Licensure Requirements:

Must possess licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in WV. Must possess BLS certification within probationary period.

Physical Requirements:

Heavy Work

May exert up to 100 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 50 lbs. of force frequently and/or in excess of 20 lbs. of force constantly.
