Job Summary

With a patient centered culture, the Physician Services Practice Outcomes Manager is responsible for the facilitation of multiple Continuous Improvement (CI) efforts across the Mon Health System Physician Practice organizations. The POM applies a variety of Quality Standards and Process improvement methodologies and project management tools to implement new and redesigned processes that optimize productivity and operational efficiency, improve service excellence, maximize clinical outcomes, and patient safety. This role works collaboratively with leadership to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations increase efficiencies, decrease costs, reduce variability, reduce errors/defects, and involve all appropriate personnel.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, nursing, or related field with comparable experience.

Requirements

Strong analytical and statistical problem solving ability. Proven ability to support multiple projects with strong skills in facilitation. Demonstrated knowledge in Quality Management, Process Improvement and appropriate statistical tools for analysis of data. Must be familiar with Joint Commission and CMS standards. Excellent interpersonal skills, written and verbal presentation skills and experience working directly with physicians on committees. Ability to organize and prioritize responsibilities. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality relative to sensitive information. Knowledge of word processing, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.

Office Work which includes sitting for extended periods of time; Lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 lbs with a maximum lifting of 25 lbs. Requires travel to other Mon Health System locations; 10% travel required.

Schedule: Full Time, Flex
