Job Summary

With a patient-centered culture, the Licensed Practical Nurse will -as directed by the RN and defined in the state’s Scope of Practice- provide direct patient care, meeting the physical, age-specific, social, mental status, cultural and spiritual needs of the patients in accordance with physicians' orders, The Joint Commission, OSHA, nursing and department guidelines.

Education Requirements

Completion of a Practical Nursing Program. Enrolled in a RN program within 18 months of hire.

Experience Requirements

Certifications/ Licensure Requirements

Current West Virginia license, which is renewed on a yearly basis. Must possess BLS certification within probationary period.

Physical Requirements

Heavy Work

Exerting up to 100 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 50 lbs. of force frequently and/or in excess of 20 lbs. of force constantly.

Location: Mon Health Medical Center · 5S Surgical Unit
Schedule: Full Time, Days
