Job Summary

Assist in the day-to-day operations of the Health Information Management department to maintain a true unit record. Processes charts, analyzes charts, scans loose papers, makes copies, pulls charts and completes a variety of HIM tasks. Completes assigned HIM duties.

Job Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement : High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Minimum Experience Requirement : On-the-job-training. Computer/word processing skills preferred. Must possess reading, writing and mathematical skills and ability to understand written instruction.

Physical Requirements and Environmental Conditions

Light Work: Frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to10 lbs with a maximum lifting of 25 lbs.

Location: Mon Health Medical Center · HEALTH INFORMATION MGMT
Schedule: Full Time, Days, Mon - Fri 7:00a -3:30p
