Credentialing Coordinator- Remote Hybrid Schedule

JOB SUMMARY

Under limited supervision, The Credentialing Verification Office coordinator oversees the day-to-day operations of the Credentialing Verification Office to develop, manage and monitor processes and procedures that support the credentialing, re-credentialing, expirables and data management processes.  The Supervisor coordinates all of the credentialing functions including application management and primary source verification for Medical Staff and Advanced Practice Providers at all Mon health facilities.  In additional, the Coordinatorensures compliance with the appropriate accrediting and regulatory agencies regarding credentialing for both initial and reappointment applications. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor’s degree with a specialty/major in Business, Management, Health Care or related field. Experience will be considered in lieu of education. 

Experience: Five years credentialing experience.

Required Skills:

  • Ability to make administrative/procedural decisions and judgments.
  • Ability to investigate and analyze information and draw conclusions.
  • Ability to process computer data and to format and generate reports.
  • Ability to supervise and train employees, to include organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with all medical staff and hospital personnel.
  • Excellent organizational skills.

Licensure/Certification: Working to obtain NAMSS CPCS or CPCSM certification in the next 2 years.


Location: Mon Health Medical Center · Medical Staff
Schedule: Full Time, Days, 8:00am - 4:00 pm
