POSITION SUMMARY
Provides clinical and distributive pharmacy services to neonatal, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric inpatients and outpatients and employees.Incorporates educational, clinical, and technical pharmacy functions to prepare medications, assess and monitor medication therapy.In-services nursing staff on medication-related issues and provides drug information to nursing and medical staff.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
oBachelor degree in Pharmacy (BS Pharm) required.
EXPERIENCE:
oA minimum of two years cumulative hospital pharmacy experience is preferred.Pharmacy technician, internship and externship may be considered as experience.
oLICENSURE AND CERTIFICATION:
oCurrent license to practice pharmacy in West Virginia or eligibility for licensure is required.
