Patient Scheduler

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for scheduling, canceling, rescheduling and coordination of outpatient visits and procedures for multiple outpatient settings, by collecting all necessary information for schedule and registration preparation.  Performs a wide variety of clerical duties, greets patients and directs phone calls while ensuring an excellent patient experience.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

EXPERIENCE

• One year of scheduling, or clerical experience in a healthcare setting. 
• Customer Service experience preferred.  
• Must have good communication skills to deal with the patients and physicians as well as coworkers.
