POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for the direct and indirect total nursing care of the patients on his/her assigned unit during a scheduled period of work time. He/she also performs patient care under the direct supervision of licensed care providers.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
oHigh school diploma or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE
oOne year of related experience in a healthcare facility preferred.
oDemonstrated proficiency with administering a variety of routine patient care procedures (i.e. taking blood
pressure, temperature and pulse) acquired through on-the-job training.
oComputer data entry experience.
oMust obtain BLS certification within probationary period.
Location: Preston Memorial Hospital · Acute Care
Schedule: PRN, Evenings/Nights, 7 pm - 7 am
